Tailor Made Tekapo Backpackers Hostel

Tekapo Hostel NZ offers secure bike storage, a workshop for you to service your bike and a range of accommodation from ensuite-double and twin rooms to 6-bed dormitory. No fear – no bunk beds. All beds are hotel quality and are made-up.

In a quiet corner of the village, we are only 300 metres from shops and restaurants. You can cook up a storm in our large, well-equipped kitchen, fry sausages on our barbeque or wander down to the village to dine out. The large garden with its rustic seats and a hammock is just the place to rest your weary body after a long day biking. Maybe take a day off and do a jigsaw puzzle in our lounge. We also cater for families with children – just ring us to find out what room would best suit your needs.

Lake Tekapo the alternate start for the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail & guests find that we are an ideal base from which to explore sections of the trail.
