Just one hour from Christchurch, you’ll find Shamarra Alpaca Farm on the beautiful Banks Peninsula across the harbour from Akaroa. With over 170 grazing alpacas you are guaranteed to make some furry friends while enjoying spectacular sea views.

Directions
Turn onto Wainui Main Road and drive for 4km. Do not turn up French Farm Valley Road. On your right, look for the Shamarra Farm Tours sign, drive up farm road follow sign to reception.
If you are in a camper van, park in camper van parking area at entrance. Please phone 03 3045141 and we will pick you up at the entrance.

Full refund, less any fees paid for cancellations made greater than 48 hours of your activity start date.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your activity start date are non-refundable unless the operator cancels the activity due to waterway road or weather conditions.
