I provide a range of day tours such as Tranz Alpine Train and hiking in Arthurs Pass National Park, Aoraki Mt Cook , Farm Tour, Horseriding Tour,Kaikoura Whalewatch or Dolphin Swim, Waipara Winery Tour, Akaroa Nature tour, Hanmer Springs Tour, Christchurch City Sights, Garden Tours, Organic Garden Cooking Tour, Christchurch Dinner Night Tour,Transfers to Tekapo, . I prefer to guide from my home in Christchurch however if clients wish to go on tours around the South Island I am able to oblige.
I have an organic garden and glasshouse and love growing vegetables and herbs and use these for making my picnic lunches enjoyed in scenic locations. This also allows us to change our schedule if the weather isn???t so kind to us. I also offer homestay in our home if guests wish to have a more genuine Kiwi experience. My home is 5 minutes from the airport and 7 minutes from the Cathedral so I am very conveniently located in the suburb of Papanui. All of my tours can be order made so if you wish to do more hiking , photography, golf or tennis absolutely no problem.

Not lucky enough to be born in New Zealand however found the place when I came here on an Agricultural exchange in 1974???and after graduating from Agricultural College in Scotland I returned in 1977.
After farming for a short while I became involved in hotel management in Queenstown and Auckland before buying and operating my own bakery coffee shop in Christchurch for 5 years.
Upon selling that I went to live in Japan for 5 years to learn the language with my young family and now operate my own inbound travel company which was catering largely for the Japanese market. Since our earthquake in Feb 2011 I have put my tours up in English and now host International Guests as well as Japanese.
However it is my pleasure to guide and host people of all nationalities around the central South Island and Christchurch in particular.
Please mail me with your inquiries and I shall be delighted to do my utmost to give you a memorable stay in the South Island.
