Elegantly restored, the homestead boasts beautiful native NZ timbers throughout, wood panelled rooms, polished floors; old pull-handle toilets; a "coffin" bath; open fireplaces; and a cosy woodburning kitchen stove.
Inspect the vintage horse drawn farm machinery.

Explore the historic hayloft and stables, washhouse, produce shed, gardener's shed, pavilion and dove cote. Soak up the peaceful country atmosphere, in amoung 130 year old trees and relax in the majestic garden or wander the farm and feed the animals. Bike riding, croquet and petanque are available to guests. Enjoy a country cooked breakfast. Dinner, specialising in fresh garden home cooked meals provided on request in advance. Also enjoy a country picnic lunch, packed for your day of exploring the Wairarapa.

LLandaff Country Residence gives peace and tranquillity to the visitor, yet is located in the centre of a huge range of Wairarapa pursuits - river and sea fishing, canoeing and swimming, bush and farm walks, horse-riding, garden visits, wine tasting (35 minutes to Martinborough), antiques, crafts, historic places and the National Wildlife Centre (20 minutes away).
